May 2, 2010 Slab Party

The slab has been poured and we had our first party! We celebrated with a few bottles of champagne, accompanied by our closest friends and family. It was the perfect way to bless our new home.

They have framed the house, prepared the plumbing and are ready to pour the slab next week! They say we are still on schedule for a June 30 close date.

The process has begun

They broke ground.  The building process has begun.  They have cleared out our lot and managed to save most of the trees, which I am thrilled about.  The ground is all clear and ready to be built on.
